Your task

Translate a broad longing for childhood into one concrete need and test an adult form that can give that need a place in present-day life.

01

Translate longing into a present need

02

Choose how to test the adult form

Proceed

If: The need is clear and there is a simple adult form available.

Then: Schedule two or three repetitions during the week and then check whether there is a little more of that quality in your life.

Clarify first

If: The need feels accurate but the first adult form feels artificial or does not help.

Then: Keep the need, but change the form: a different person, ritual, time, setting, or smaller scale.

Stop signal

If: Longing turns into persistent despair, isolation, flashbacks, or major impairment.

Then: Stop treating it as a solo experiment and seek appropriate psychological, psychotherapeutic, or medical support.
